What is an Awesome Makeover?
An Awesome Makeover allows me to unleash the woman in you! I have over a decade of experience in makeup application on transgender and genetic women of all ages and races and no challenge is too great for me. I can create a variety of looks, from "au natural" to "glam" to the often-requested "sexy secretary" look. I have also done makeup for brides. My wife is a licensed hair stylist and can perform wonders on your hair or wig.

Transgender clients can choose from a selection of wigs, breast forms, clothes up to size 3X, and shoes up to size 12 (click here to see what size you are). Some clients bring their own wigs, breast forms, clothes, and shoes. After the makeover, clients can choose to take pictures in any of three settings. Makeovers generally require 2 to 4 hours; the services page lists costs.

We provide facilities for you to change into your outfits and cleanse your face before and after your makeover.

Do you perform makeovers in boy or girl mode?
I perform makeovers in an androgynous mode. This makeover is about you, not me.

After my makeover, will I be able to walk out the door and pass as a woman?
Passing is more than just appearance. Passing is about confidence, attitude, personality, and all of the intangibles that make up what a woman is. I can give you a more natural appearance suitable for walking around in public, but you must practice other skills, such as feminine mannerisms, to aid in your passability. I can teach you how to look, act, and think like a woman as part of your makeover.

If I have a photo session done, what do you do with the pictures?
I will place all of your pictures on CD-ROMs for you to take home. You will leave with the only copy of your pictures unless you give me permission to use one or more of your pictures in the testimonials section of this web site. If you'd like, I can print any of your pictures on a photo printer for $1 per picture.

What makes you better than your competition?
For over 17 years, I have been seen in the public eye as one of the world's most beautiful transgender women. Both my online presence and my public presence have been strengthed concurrently. I am a published author with 7 full-length books, 3 tutorials, and 2 videos about transformation. In 1995, I competed against some of the most beautiful female impersonators in the world and have won the top prize at a major beauty competition. I've created fundraising events for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen For the Cure. In 2004, I was a runway model for a fashion show that raised over $16.7k for a nonprofit organization that helps transgender youths.

No other makeover service in the world has someone who shows this much integrity and caring for the transgender community because no other makeover service in the world has Kalina Isato.

How should payments be made?
A deposit of 50% must be made prior to your appointment as stated on the appointment form. Any remaining balance must be paid in full in cash. Gratuities are appreciated, but are never required.

How far in advance can I book an appointment?
Book your appointment at least 7 days in advance. Time slots fill quickly so it is best to book as far in advance as possible and pay the required deposit at the time of booking.

What if I can't afford a makeover ?
Consider purchasing my books and videos on makeup application and crossdressing.

What if I cancel my Awesome Makeover appointment?
If you cancel at least 7 days in advance, I will hold your deposit interest-free and apply it to a future appointment. If you cancel in under 7 days, you will forfeit your deposit.

What if I'm late for my appointment?
Please respect your appointment start and end times. Your appointment starts on your appointment start time, not when you arrive. If you are running late, please call me in advance as a courtesy.
