Two new girls, Rachel and Gail, and special guest star Beba appeared at this week's Monday Night Tgirls party at Tavern on Camac. Other girls who appeared at the party include Danielle, Sandy, and Kristin. "I can't believe I'm surrounded by all these gorgeous girls!" Rachel remarked. "I'm so glad this party exists!"

Rachel said she thought my pictures looked fabulous, but that I looked even better in person. Our group headed upstairs to the dance club level where there were more opportunities for picture-taking. Tgirls love getting photographed! An admirer named Rob bought Beba and I a drink. I tried something new, an Absolut Ruby Red with cranberry juice, which was basically a Sea Breeze. I sported a brand new bebe fur trim leather trench coat. It looks and feels sooo nice!!! "For some reason, it looks better on you than on the girl in the bebe advertisement," Chris said. "That's because those bebe models are sticks. I have shape," I bragged, smiling.

Tonight's theme was Funky Earrings Night where you got to show off your funkiest, wildest, and sexiest earrings! After a review of all the attendees, Dusty gets the honors for funkiest earrings!

Victoria Lace's Monday night drag show at The Raven in New Hope, PA is dynamic, energetic, and highly entertaining. With scant resources in stage and lighting, she still manages to pump out an excellent show. Although her guest performers can best be rated as marginal, Victoria herself is the guiding light. In between performances, she sits with people in the audience in a highly interactive dialog format, never once deriding her guests and never once making cheap shots at races or political figures.

The Raven was somewhat of a mystery to me since this was the second time in fifteen years I'd been there. From talking to some people, continual renovations to the bar and surrounding "resort" (the Raven boasts a beautiful outdoor pool, fine restaurant, and inn) keeps people coming back. The bar itself is nothing extraordinary. It's basically a small town tavern with two well-stocked bars, an entertainment room, and a pool table area next to the bathrooms. "The pool table is new," a crossdresser named Lily informed me. New?! I thought all bars had pool tables! That's one of the big reasons to go to a bar. Both bars were nicely decorated, so that was a plus and the bathrooms looked very nice and clean, things you expect from a gay bar. The entertainment room was not that big. At maximum capacity, perhaps 100 people could stand inside. The room was also not very well-lit. In fact, it was creepy dark. How anyone could see anyone else is a mystery to me, but perhaps that was part of its charm. I got up to go to the bathroom, did a little reconnaissance mission of my own to rediscover what I had been missing for the last fifteen years and concluded I didn't miss much. I seem to remember the place as being a bit bigger and someone confirmed that the dining room was usually open every night except Monday, so perhaps the dining room was once the large dance room I remembered as a youth.

The first annual Monday Night Tgirls Sexy Legs contest was a fantabulous success! Four contestants walked the runway for fame and glory and all four were awarded titles for making positive impressions with our panel of three male judges. The winner of our sexy legs contest is Kristen from King of Prussia, PA. Because she won, Kristen is eligible to compete for the title of Miss Monday Night Tgirls December 2006.

Not far behind in the judging, Misty from Reading, PA is our first runner up. Rounding out our selections, the second runners up are Mike from New Jersey and Rachel. Congratulations to all of our winners! In the following weeks, we'll have more contest or party themes. "I have to admit, you are absolutely gorgeous in person," one of the attendees said. "Your face is so nice. I had reservations meeting you, because I thought you'd be kind of stuck up, but you're actually totally cool."
